Out of all the storage facilities where i've ever rented a unit, i like NW Self Storage the best! I feel like my belongings are safe & secure here. Their prices are on the lower side of being comparable to other facilities in the area. The employees are warm & welcoming. They've been incredibly patient and understanding with my series of various issues-- from losing my keys and needing my lock cut, to needing the gate code written down, AGAIN, or losing my wallet and needing to update my payment information AGAIN, etc. They've always been accommodating and friendly. The only thing i don't care for are the hours of operation, but, there are zero storage facilities that are open 24 hours in the Portland area, and their hours are comparable to all other storage facilities in the area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's needing a storage unit.

If you have things to store this is the place and it’s all because of the amazing manager. Rachelle is super friendly, great customer service, and bends over backwards to make your move in as easy as possible. She’s super friendly and always doing her best to keep the place looking good. It’s a drive up facility so no unloading on to a cart then taking an elevator to unload. Saves time and your back. I can’t say enough good things about this facility and I have rented storage all over the city. This one is the best thanks to Rachelle! She’s is absolutely awesome.

Wonderful place to store your stuff! The employees/front desk lady Rachelle was extremely easy to talk to, nice and overall a good hardworking person I know I can rely on to keep my stuff safe and dry. NW self storage has amazing service and I really felt welcomed. Not only was the service great but the storage process itself was super easy and convenient. Excellent on site staff. Not all that pleased with the call center though, I prefer to discuss storage facilities and options with the actual location I'm interested in. Talking to a call center didn't answer any of my questions except availability and cost. I can see that online, what I need to talk to some call taker about that? People want to know a lot more than that when moving their valuables into storage. In addition, I had questions about the ceiling height that the call center couldn't answer. However, my experience at the location was completely the opposite. The onsite manager at the one on 26th was more than helpful, courteous and knowledgeable about her job and allowed me to discuss my concerns and addressed my needs for storage. We were then able to place me in the proper size storage unit and she further allayed any concerns I had about placing my property in the care of NW Storage. I left feeling my belongings will be in a safe and secure location.

so personable & convenient Not only is NW Self storage in my neighborhood, but like their other locations the staff is phenomenal. Friendly and professional, the staff are always able to answer all my questions and provide top notch service. The only drawback is that they are almost always full, which is a testament to their consistency and quality business.

the check in lady was nice. I got my stuff in easy on the ground floor, seemed fine for my stuff. none of my things are very fancy, so if I had very fancy stuff, I'd probably pick a different place to store them.

Quick & easy to move in. Worked well for us.

Friendly and informative manager. Easy and direct communication. Facility easy to access with code. Clean storage. Space is 4x 15 rather than 5x15 so tighter fit than I thought it would be with my wide couch. Also not tall enough for my couch to stand on end. Couch is 8.5 feet tall so can't tip it up. That's why I rated average in 1st question but I don't have any experience with other storage businesses so don't know how it compares.

The Portland Storage Company has improved greatly since they got their new manager, Rachelle. Thefts have stopped, they have a new security system, and a new gate system! The manager is very friendly and welcoming and truely cares about keeping our stuff safe and making sure that her customers are happy. I have never had a better expirience at a storage company thanks to her. I highly recommend the Portland Storage Company.

Great Customer Service Rachelle really went above and beyond when our landlord broke our lease and we needed affordable storage fast while we scrambled for a new apartment.
