Love renting here

Rather not said, but there's the good and bad...

I had a one car garage size and it was perfect to fit my entire household items in it while I really needed the time to transition to my new place! No problems with tampering, or anyone bothering me while I was there. When I called I always had someone polite and helpful on the other end, and when I went into the office someone was always there to greet me with a smile! This was a great facility. I'm thankful for the storage while I needed it and would rent again if I ever needed another one for sure!

Katie & family, we will miss you truly it's very unfortunate to lose such a great person as yourself due to error in protocol and procedures from others misunderstandings. You should be brought back with a raise and contract!! Family and children are resilient they will bounce back just stay together!!!

We relocated from Florida to Oregon this year, and needed to find a space to store our belongings while we searched for a home. I spoke with Katie before we even arrived in Oregon to arrange our storages rental, and she was incredibly helpful and kind, we felt completely comfortable renting sight unseen. We stored our belongings for 8 months, and had no problems at all. Katie was always a pleasure to chat with, always cheerful, helpful and kind. The facility itself was well kept, secure, and we always felt safe. We will definitely return if we have a future need.

One of the least expensive options in town. Katie is amazing and really works with her customers to find the best solutions for their needs.

Had a unit here for the last 2 years. Not a single problem.

They came to our rescue on short notice and provided a large storage unit for our household goods after our move-in date got pushed back three weeks.

Area is clean, well maintained, well lit if you need to enter after hours

This is one of the most secure storage units I have ever had! (and I’ve had many over the years). It’s a coded gate system to enter the property so when I am inside my huge storage unit by myself - I never feel unsafe. Management here is beyond helpful. When I needed extra storage I went to Katie and she and I had the contract signed”key in hand” in 10 minutes! Pleasant and easy to deal with.

Quick, polite, and professional!

Katie was amazing, she was very helpful and easy to work with! Since COVID-19 hit it seem that the service industry has gone down hill, people have gotten lazy and don’t care any more, then use the pandemic as the excuse. Well that’s not the case at Northwest Self Storage! Katie went out of her way to make us feel we could count on her for any of our storage needs and she went above and beyond to accommodate us! Thank again!

We had an office space here for a few years. Safe and secure with never an issue. The reason for the 5 stars is for Lori the manager! She keeps the place welcoming and drama free. 10 Stars for Lori alone!

When I called Northwest Self Storage on Hickory Street NE in Salem, Oregon, I was calling from Alaska to organize covered storage for my motorhome. Lori, the manager, was extremely efficient and willing to help. After answering all my questions, she agreed to do the contract paperwork using a combination of telephone and e-mail. With Lori living on the property, I feel that my motorhome will be secure. I appreciate that the area is paved about the storage areas and up to the graveled, covered parking units.

I just want to thank Lori for the amazing service we got....she made an already difficult situation much lighter...if need storage..I highly recommend Northgate storage....she choose to do a good job .that is integerty..thanku

This place is amazing! Laurie, the manager, is so sweet and helpful. We had to move two storage units into another one and Laurie made sure we had a dolley cart, lots of water, and was super supportive. Her and the district manager worked with us and helped make a difficult situation so much smoother and I appreciate it so much. 😊 Ever need your stuff stored, this definitely should be on the list of businesses to call.

We have rented a storage unit for a short time. The service is fantastic. Lori, the manager, is so helpful! We live out of state and she helped us coordinate moving our belongings, without us having to physically be there. Every time we call she does everything she can to find the information we need. Amazing!! We highly recommend Northgate Storage!

I had a storage facility at Northgate Storage for the past three years. It was the best experience I've had at any storage facility. Safety, cleanliness, and the management were excellent. The manager, Lori LeDoux , was so professional , helpful and kept the facility clean and in excellent condition. I highly recommend this storage facility.

The people that work in the office are great. HOWEVER the CALL CENTER people will cost you a lot of unnecessary MONEY that you CAN get back.
