Northwest Self Storage and its customers raised money to assist foster youth in the Pacific Northwest.
Portland, Ore., Feb. 6, 2018 – Northwest Self Storage recently completed a year-end 2017 philanthropic project by raising $10,840 to benefit foster youth throughout the Pacific Northwest in partnership with Project Lemonade. For every storage unit rented during December 2017, Northwest Self Storage donated $10 to Project Lemonade.
A great opportunity to work with an important local nonprofit, the fundraiser was also a chance to help create opportunities and build confidence in local foster youth. Northwest Self Storage is committed to benefiting and supporting its local communities, and Project Lemonade does just that.
“We’ve been big supporters of Project Lemonade for several years. We’ve donated time, resources, and in-kind services to support kids in foster care,” said Northwest Self Storage’s Dawn Tangvald. “This past year, our collaboration with Project Lemonade raised much-needed funds while inspiring our employees and our customers. We take giving seriously—rather than simply writing a check, we want to build ongoing partnerships with local nonprofits that support our communities around us.”
